Founder and Chief Manager, T.J. DeMartino, served in the U.S. Army Special Forces before entering the private sector.
His military service included work with a joint Special Operations Counter Terrorism unit. In this capacity, Mr. DeMartino helped design and implement both domestic and international security measures.
For the past ten years, he has provided security personnel and security consultation to corporate, small business and personal clients. Mr. DeMartino is a State of Tennessee commissioned police officer.
Phalanx personnel are discreet, professional agents who bring both tactical and technical proficiency to each assignment. All Phalanx agents have military and / or law enforcement experience.
Phalanx Risk Solutions co-owner Monica Whitaker manages the company’s marketing and administration. Ms. Whitaker is a licensed TN armed guard who helps lead self-defense classes in the Nashville area. She comes to the security business with a background in reporting, including work overseas.

Phalanx also is a preferred contractor for the Global Emergency Management System. The company is registered with the federal Central Contractor Registration.
